astro / Safari bumper and grille removal

With a Philips screw driver, remove the two screws holding in the parking lamps.
|

Twist the bulb socket to remove the lamps.
|
|
Behind the parking lamp, you will find two screws. remove with a 6mm nut driver.
|
|
|
There is one at the bottom center of the grille.
|
|
Three more across the top. Then carefully remove the grille and find a safe place to put it where it wont get damaged.
|
|
To remove the Bumper Cover, start with the 10mm screws.
Remove and discard the lower bumper support rod, before it pokes you in the eye. |

It helps to have the correct tool to remove the bumper push in clips plastic rivet fasteners. But a small flat screw driver and a pliers will work.
|
|
Remove bumper from stock bumper brackets.
|
|
Remove the stock bumper bracket.
|
|
Install the bumper relocation brackets.
|
|
Center the bumper.
|
|
A little tape on your nut driver will help get that screw back in the hole.
|
