Rear Motor Skid Plate – 2021+ Toyota Sienna AWD
The AWD Sienna relies on a rear-mounted electric motor to deliver power to the back wheels. From the factory, that motor is protected by nothing more than a flimsy plastic cover. For lifted vans or anyone who drives on gravel, snow, or unpaved roads, that’s a weak point you can’t afford to ignore.

Rear Motor Skid Plate – 2021+ Toyota Sienna AWD
Our steel skid plate replaces the factory plastic with real protection, shielding the motor, wiring, and that exposed orange high-voltage connector from rocks, debris, and winter buildup. Designed specifically for the 2021+ AWD Sienna, it bolts up cleanly in under 10 minutes using existing hardware and mounting points.
Why it matters:
Whether you're exploring backroads or just want peace of mind during daily driving, this skid plate is a must-have upgrade for any AWD Sienna.
Why it matters:
- Shields the rear electric motor from damage during off-pavement travel, snow, or gravel road use
- Protects the high-voltage connector, which sits dangerously low and exposed from the factory
- Replaces the factory plastic cover with laser-cut, powder-coated steel
- Installs in minutes — no drilling, trimming, or fabrication required
- Low-profile fitment works with both stock and lifted setups
Whether you're exploring backroads or just want peace of mind during daily driving, this skid plate is a must-have upgrade for any AWD Sienna.
factory plastic splash guard
|
This is the factory positioning of the splash guard. If the Orange High Voltage Line Connector is damage on the AWD Electric Motor your Sienna could be put into a safety shutdown mode stranding you in a bad spot. There are also separate concerns about its proximity to the fuel system if it were to arc off of water.
