JOR CSB-30M Coil Helper Springs add 15–30% of usable load support to your factory front or rear coil springs — no tools, no drilling, no maintenance. The micro-cellular urethane inserts press in between the coils and firm up progressively under load, killing sag and sway while keeping the ride comfortable empty. Sold as a pair. 1.68" inner-wall height for direct fitment on a wide range of coil-sprung platforms.
Coil Spring Buffer 1.68"
The Journeys Off Road CSB-1168 Coil Helper Spring is built for drivers who load their rigs and want them to sit level and drive composed doing it. Each insert is molded from micro-cellular urethane and shaped to seat firmly between the turns of your existing coil spring, where it engages progressively — soft and unobtrusive when the vehicle is empty, noticeably stiffer as weight comes on.
That progressive behavior is the whole point. Instead of a fixed-rate add-on that beats you up on an empty return trip, the CSB-1168 only contributes support when you actually need it: hauling gear, towing, carrying passengers, or running a loaded overland setup. The result is reduced rear sag, less side-to-side body roll and sway through corners, fewer harsh bottom-outs over rough terrain, and a more planted, fatigue-free feel on long hauls.
Installation is about as simple as suspension work gets — no spring compressor, no drilling, no brackets, no bleeding air lines. The inserts seat into the coil by hand or with basic hand tools, and once they're in there's nothing to service, inflate, or adjust over the life of the part.
The CSB-1168 carries a 1.68" inner-wall height, the dimensional standard for this class of coil insert, so it drops into the same broad range of front and rear coil-spring applications you'd expect across trucks, SUVs, vans, and overland builds.
Note: coil helper springs improve load leveling and ride quality but do not increase your vehicle's GVWR — always stay within the manufacturer's rated limits.
