The JOR CSB-30M Coil Spring Buffer Kit is designed to help Toyota Sienna owners get more out of their factory suspension when the van is loaded with passengers, cargo, camping equipment, bikes, luggage, or towing gear.
Modern Siennas are incredibly capable family and adventure vehicles, but like any coil-spring suspension they can begin to squat under heavier loads. Excessive suspension compression can lead to increased body roll, reduced stability, harsher bottom-outs, and a less confident driving experience.
The CSB-30M installs directly between the turns of your factory rear coil springs, adding progressive support only when the suspension begins to compress. Our Take on Air Bags
Many rear air bag kits for the 2021+ Toyota Sienna require the factory bump stop to be removed before installation. That has never made much sense to us.
The factory bump stop is there for a reason. It serves as the suspension's final cushion during hard impacts, large bumps, potholes, and full-compression events. Removing it means eliminating a factory-engineered component specifically designed to protect the suspension system when it reaches the limits of its travel.
The JOR CSB-30M takes a different approach. It installs within the coil spring while allowing the factory bump stop to remain exactly where Toyota intended it. No cutting, no removal of factory suspension components, and no reliance on air pressure. Just additional spring support while keeping the suspension's original safeguards intact.
Note: This is only our opinion on the 4th Generation Toyota Sienna models. The 2nd and 3rd Generation Toyota Sienna benefits from air bags because you are not being forced to remove a bump stop from within the coil.
