One of the most common failed parts we see on the Toyota Sienna is the Rear Differential Mount Bushing. It typically causes a vibration in the rear driveshaft which could lead to further wear on the Driveshaft and the Differential if it goes unnoticed.
This is a common problem on all older Sienna's. It is easily damaged due to the rubber drying over time. These polyurethane bushings work best in hot and dry environments. (We recommend using the rubber Differential Mount Bushing in in cold climates. See Below)
The best time to install this part is during the installation of your JOR Lift Kit.

This is an example of a completely failed Rear Differential Mount Bushing, there is clear and obvious tearing and cracking.
A bushing that is failed or compromised will destroy the rear driveshaft of a Sienna. It will start out as a light vibration that can be felt in the floor. We recommend replacing this bushing on any Sienna 10 years or older. |
