HOW TO TRIM WHEEL OPENINGS ON YOUR ASTRO/SAFARI VAN FOR 31" TIRES

If you want to put bigger tires on your lifted van, your going to need to trim out the front wheel opening a little.
Our Journeys Off Road Spring Hangers take care of rear by moving the axle back 3/8", centering the tire in the opening and keeping the axle from flopping around on the stock rubber mounted hangers.
If you don't want it to look like Freddy Krueger cut them out. Follow these simple steps, first your going to need a few things;
SawsAll w/fine metal cutting blade
Jig Saw w/fine metal cutting blade
Wax pencil, fine tip washable marker or a crayon
Sanding block with 150 grit paper
Spray undercoating
